In celebration of Community Foundation of Sarasota County's 2018 Giving Challenge, join ensemblenewSRQ and Louie's Modern for an inspiring evening length event where music meets food. A three course menu and wine pairing has been crafted specifically for this occasion and our musical selections.

If you would like to sit together please be sure to purchase your tickets as a group, this way we can best accomodate a seating arrangement that works well for you!

This concert will continue as scheduled. 50% of single ticket proceeds will be donated to hurricane relief efforts in Florida and Texas.

Journey with us from the New Mexico desert to the snowy north, to Tanglewood and New York City in this concert inspired by the spaces of nature around us. Featuring Missy Mazzoli’s Death Valley Junction and Einojuhani Rautavaara’s Lost Landscapes.

Featuring acclaimed pianist Sarah Cahill and Artistic Director Samantha Bennett in a number of works including the Grand Duo whose June 2017 performance of this work garnered the acclaim of “gorgeous intensity” by The New York Times.

Our cycle of Luciano Berio’s Sequenzas kicks off with Sequenza VIII for violin. Clarinet, violin and marimba all take turns leading this program. Bharat Chandra joins our string quartet in Kernis’ Perpetual Chaconne, and George Nickson joins composer Bright Sheng who will be with us to conduct his dreamscape marimba concerto, Deep Red.
